From the Railway
If you are arriving at Torquay Railway station, The Balcony at Hesketh Crescent is only a couple of miles way. You will require a taxi. The station has a taxi rank. If this is unoccupied then call either 01803 213213 or 01803 211611. The next nearest taxi rank to the station is on the Strand in Torquay only a couple of minutes away. The M5 at Exeter leads straight onto the A38. From the A38 take the A380 following the signs into Torquay and Seafront.

At the seafront, turn left onto A379, following signs for Babbacombe and Harbour, with the sea on your right hand side, drive under the foot bridge at Abbey Sands, past The Princess Theatre & when you reach the inner harbour, turn left at the Clock Tower roundabout (sign-posted Babbacombe).

Carry on up the hill and turn right into Parkhill Road at the first set of traffic lights, this leads almost immediately into Meadfoot Road and then Meadfoot Sea Road leading to Meadfoot Beach. After a 1/2 a mile or so, the road widens -

Please drive through the gates of The Osborne Hotel, and park your car in the very first space, marked ’Private’ on the left hand side.

Taking the main route into Torbay will result in any travel, connecting to the A38 at Exeter. This is preceded by the M5

Any approach on the A38 will result in an approach to the Penn Inn roundabout, a notorious roundabout for peak period traffic. Try to arrive before 8.00am after 9.30am or before 4.30pm and after 6.00pm
